The Beginning
Their goal was to bring the organization's purpose to life by providing implant dentistry to low-income and vulnerable patients in need of treatment. Since then, Let Them Shine has been transforming the smiles and lives of every patient who is selected for the program.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are now the standard of care for missing teeth. Unlike older solutions such as dentures and other removable appliances, dental implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth. They also help prevent bone loss caused by missing tooth roots and do not require adjacent teeth to be ground down.
Our Process
Clinicians identify patients in need of dental implant therapy and nominate them to Let Them Shine via our online application. From these submissions, our committee chooses several deserving patients every year, on a quarterly basis, to receive free implant treatment using implants and prosthetics donated by our Corporate Partner, Straumann Group.
